Emmai Alaquiva is known around Pittsburgh for his award winning work in the community and in the media.  One of his latest productions was for Classroom Without Borders and was recently nominated for a 2017 Mid-Atlantic Emmy; but sometimes it’s not the awards or accolades that we receive which define us.  This piece titled “Ghetto Steps” followed Classroom Without Borders as they went to Poland to further learn about the Holocaust.  There is much more that can be said about this video but sometimes actions and events cannot be put into words.  As Marc Lazar states in the video, “We must move forward but first we must learn from the past.”
