We’ve uncovered a magical video of a train journey (circa 1904) from Pittsburgh to Pitcairn, once a burgeoning rail yard city that employed 10,000 people.

The path of the train goes through Braddock, North Braddock, East Pittsburgh, Turtle Creek, and finally Pitcairn. You might recognize the historic Westinghouse Electrical & Manufacturing Co, and the Westinghouse Air Brake Company in Wilmerding.

It’s important to remember that solidarity of our history remains through our fragile relevance.
