Whether you’re just not feeling Halloween this year or you’re worried about not being able to get your Sexy Pizza Rat costume together in time, perhaps you will find solace in taking the volunteer route this season. We’ve rounded up a list of events all over the city that need your help to make Halloween 2015 a hit in Pittsburgh.

Halloween at the Y

Hazelwood, Homewood, Penn Hills, Thelma Lovette and North Borough YMCA’s will all be hosting Halloween parties and events and need your help to make them a success. For more info on dates and locations visit their website here.

Phipps conservatory is always in need of volunteers to help with everything from their horticulture department to their hospitality services. Sign up today to become a volunteer for this year’s Halloween Happenings, an evening of face painting, costumes and magic shows.

While it’s too late in the season to be transformed into a terrifying creature, there’s still time to help out behind the scenes. Annual Kid’s Halloween Party by Lawrenceville United

October 31st, 1-6pm
A haunted house, free candy, line dancing and more! Join LU for their annual Halloween party as a much needed volunteer. LU is in need of individuals willing to help set up, break down, prepare food, and lead activities during the event. For more information click here.

WearWoof Fall Fashion Drive

Through October 31st
