“Not your mama’s waffles” is right. These authentic Leige waffles, made popular in Belgium, are made with a special sugar on a cast iron griddle and are unlike any waffle you’ve ever had. That topped with one of their delicious ice creams (try the speculoos flavor) and some fresh fruit should tide you over for a few meals.

This classic spot opened in 1983 and has been THE place for ice cream ever since. With only 5 permanent flavors: chocolate, vanilla, cookie & cream, cookie dough and birthday cake, the shop is constantly experimenting with new flavors and making a great quality product. Strip District
This Public Market stand believes that great ice cream begins with great milk. Their locally crafted ice cream is made using only the finest of ingredients including milk from Brunton Dairy and goat yogurt from Riverview Dairy. Almost all of their ingredients come from local sources including blackberries from Clarion River Organics and a vanilla extract made with Wigle Whiskey’s Landlocked spirit (rum). Another great location for boozy sweets.
