Pasties, percolators, beautiful girls, donuts and a creeping sense of terror are just a few of the things you’ll find at the Rex Theater this Saturday. The Pink Room, a David Lynch inspired Burlesque troupe, will be performing a satire of Twin Peaks filled with delight, lust and horror; a performance David Lynch himself would be enthralled by.

Twin Peaks, David Lynch’s much loved television series, has garnered a huge cult following that has inspired annual festivals and tributes in it’s honor for the past two decades. Since February 23rd, 2011, the 21st anniversary of the death of Twin Peaks’ beloved Laura Palmer, The Pink Room has covered everything Lynchian through burlesque tributes: Twin Peaks, Fire Walk With Me, Blue Velvet, Wild At Heart, Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive, Eraserhead and Inland Empire.

The award winning troupe includes nationally renowned Francine “The Lucid Dream” who is both performer and producer for The Pink Room. Francine and the innovative burlesque group have managed to bring out the more sensual and comical side of Lynch’s work while still honoring his vast contributions to art and culture.

Saturday night’s performance will include appearances by beloved characters like the quirky Lucy Moran, the Log Lady, Audrey Horne, a more feminine Dale Cooper and you might even get to see a sexy donut or two.

Whether you’re a fan of burlesque, a fan of David Lynch or just simply a fan of naked ladies, The Pink Room’s Twin Peaks Burlesque promises to be an unforgettable show. From the moment the troupe takes the stage they’ll be no mistaking that you’ve landed in Twin Peaks.

The South Side’s Rex Theater will be hosting the touring show for one night only, Saturday, October 10th. Tickets range from $15-$25 and are available for presale and at the door.
