Inspired by Humans of New York (check out their FB page if you haven’t already), LOCALpittsburgh is pleased and proud to launch LOCAL for the Holidays. For whatever reason, there are people around our fair city that won’t be able to make it home for the holidays, and our team LOCAL for the Holidays wants to help. If you are without a ‘home’ this season and would like to be paired with a host and spread some holiday cheer, we will do our best to match you with a Host Volunteer.
Both Host Volunteers and Guests are encouraged to apply!
We know that Pittsburgh is a great city and its residents are some of the most giving and caring out there. If you can find it in your heart and home to welcome someone into your home on Christmas Eve, Christmas or New Years, please fill out the Host Volunteer/Guest form below.
Tell us about yourself (and your family), how many you can accommodate and the area of the city in which you reside.
We will do our best to match HOSTS and GUESTS up as best we can (and in the process finding out more about each request to make the best match possible), and no match (and contact info) will be made/shared unless both parties agree to it.
