Polishfest 2019

Polishfest ’19 —–A FREE “Family-Oriented Festival”. CELEBRATE POLAND WITH AN OLD WORLD CHRISTMAS” with Polish, Lithuanian & Carpatho-Rusyn music, song, dance, ethnic foods, bakery, crafts and culture will be presented on Sunday, November 10th, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the University of Pittsburgh, Cathedral of Learning, 4200 5th Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15260. This cultural event is FREE and open to the public. A full schedule of continuous activities have been planned including live folk dance, folk song, folk musical entertainment, cultural displays, Polish Craft & Gift Mart, cooking demonstrations, kids make-n-take crafts, Old World Bakery, ethnic foods and Polka Music.

Join in and dance the Polka, enjoy some pierogi, create your very own paper cutting, or have your child make a Christmas ornament and much more. Proceeds to benefit the University of Pittsburgh, Nationality Room Scholarship Fund. This event is partially funded by the Polish Falcon’s of America & The Polish Falcon’s Heritage Foundation.
