Latrobe Art Center’s Annual Open Show showcases the work of all artists—aspiring or experienced—in not only the Greater Latrobe Community, but in the southwestern Pennsylvanian region! Anyone ages 3 and up can submit artwork to this show.
The awards ceremony will be held online Thursday, June 11 at 7 p.m. on their website at the Virtual Awards Ceremony: Annual Open Show webpage, as well as our social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram).
Bill Karaffa, is a practicing Pittsburgh-based creative who focuses on capturing the portrait/figure in many of his works, will be judging this year. He is a current member of McMurray Art League, Pittsburgh Pastel Artists, the Pittsburgh Society of Artists Guild, and the Portrait Society of America. Participation in life drawings session at many venues throughout the City are part of his weekly regiment. Bill focuses on the technical aspects of portraiture/ figure drawing and has been successful in a variety of juried art exhibitions.
