Tonight in Homestead, Studio AM opens its walls for local artist John Muldoon. Under the new direction of Chef Steve Morehouse, and with the assistance of Bryer Blumenschein, the funky restaurant once known exclusively for the artwork of Baron Batch, is now going to be rotating local artists throughout their establishment. John Muldoon, the first artist in this series, is known for colorful pieces which will be a perfect fit. Studio AM is open Thursday for Thai cuisine and Sunday for brunch.
In the South Hills at Houlihan’s, local artists are putting on a benefit art show. Tonight, The Perfect Palette will showcase the artwork of six local artists from 7-9 pm with complimentary light snacks. Donations will benefit O’Backpack Children’s Foundation whose mission is to help abused and neglected children in Allegheny County and surrounding areas.
