Urban Grange: Local Farmers & Delectable Dishes

A celebration of those who keep Pittsburgh green, Urban Grange will be highlighting the food and drinks made possible by Western Pennsylvania’s urban farming community.

Grow Pittsburgh will be celebrating their 10th anniversary with Spirit Lounge this Friday and give attendees a chance to meet local growers, producers, and the folks behind the great work at Grow Pittsburgh.

Prepare to eat some delicious all local and homegrown fare. A bounty of food will be provided by Spirit’s Slice Island, Paragon Foods, Millie’s Homemade Ice Cream, Penn’s Corner Farm Alliance, Whole Foods, and Piebird.

In order to give these green warriors their proper due, Urban Grange will also include appearances from Molly Alphabet, Hill Jordan & Slide Worldwide and Pandemic; an eclectic array of music that’s sure to help you dance off all the sweets from Piebird you’ll likely have indulged in.

And in case you need a bit of liquid courage, wine from Market Street Grocery as well as local, seasonal, and organic beers from Frank B. Fuhrer Wholesale will be available in abundance.

Festivities on Friday night will be family friendly and will include tons of activities including a button making table. Advance tickets will be sold here until noon on Friday, November 13th. Tickets will also be available at the door.
