“Idea Furnace Retrospective”, Pittsburgh Glass Center, June 7-July 29. Check out this “melding” (pun intended) of creativity. This show at the Pittsburgh Glass Center on Penn Avenue showcases the work of 17 artists of other mediums who have been inspired by glass. Works range from a race multimedia installation to glass musical instruments. The show’s opening is June 7, 6 p.m.- 9 p.m. While you’re on Penn Avenue, explore the other artwork on display on Friday in the Garfield section of Penn Avenue as part of the monthly Unblurred First Friday art crawl.
Pride Rocks PGH with Walk The Moon, June 7, 6 p.m. – 11:45 p.m. The Cincinnati-based band gained national attention in 2015 with its Billboard #1 chart hit “Shut Up And Dance” and then again topped the chart in 2018 with “One Foot”.
