Sewickley’s Ramp N Rize to host fundraising event, Shalieve in Halloween

Get your sweat on for a good cause! On Friday, October 25, Ramp N Rize, Athleta, and Row House North Hills will host the event, Shalieve in Halloween, a fundraiser workout event to benefit Ryan Shazier’s Shalieve Fight Foundation.

The event will take place at Ramp N Rize, Sewickley’s newest fitness studio. The studio provides group classes with innovative workout techniques on the TransformerPro (RAMP) and the Power Tower (RIZE). Ramp N Rize provides an energetic, welcoming environment for all of those who join in on the fun.

The event will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with doors opening at 6:00 p.m. The workouts will consist of 20 minutes on the Power Tower, 20 minutes on the TransfomerPro, and 20 minutes on the rowing machines, rotating the classes. Vendors from local businesses such as Salud Juicery, Power Bites, BODYARMOR, Rivendale, and more will be providing refreshments and samples throughout the event. Pittsburgh Performance Institute will be there for recovery after the workouts. A raffle with baskets and prizes from local businesses will take place at the event, as well.

A $30 cash donation will be taken at the door. All proceeds from the event go to Shazier’s newly created Shalieve Fight Foundation. This foundation focuses on providing help to those who have suffered spinal cord injuries, like himself.

To register for the event, create an account on Ramp N Rize’s website, or download the Glofox app. Once you’ve created your account, schedule for Friday’s event.
