Friday is for Art at the Frick

Fridays at the Frick continues with the GPAC’s annual cookout. This will be a great opportunity to meet up with old friends and make some new ones. Enjoy outdoor performances and food trucks including Kyle Lacy and the Harlem River Noise; Bulldawgs, BRGR, Oakmont BBQ, and Sugar & Spice Ice Cream food trucks. Outdoor performances begin at approximately 6:30pm.

Frick visitors will be able to:
• Enjoy free performances and family-friendly activities.
• Tour Clayton, the historic Frick family home.
• Dine at The Café at the Frick from 5:30–8:00 p.m. Reservations welcomed, and are available to members and non-members.
• Mingle at the wine bar on the terrace of The Frick Art Museum (cash bar).
• Enjoy fare from a diverse selection of local food trucks.
• Picnic on the Frick grounds—visitors may bring their own basket, blanket, and beverages! The Café offers bottled wine sales.
• Shop at the Frick Museum Store

Easy Street Promotions hosts the first Live Music PGH Block Party on Saturday, August 11th in the heart of East Liberty. This free community event will take place on Baum Blvd between S. Highland and S. Whitfield near the Carnegie Library from Noon-8PM. The block party is to raise awareness for LiveMusicPGH.com, a local Band/DJ database and event listing site with a mission to connect and grow the local music scene

The event is free and open to all!

The last hoorah of summer: the 3rd annualCrosstown Cookout …..kick back, soak up the sun reflecting off the river, eat from your favorite food trucks, drink handcrafted cocktails and ice cold brews, check out local artists and vendors, and soak up those last lazy summer vibes while you dance into the summer night.

With two stages full of a robust lineup of local DJs, as well as national party-rocking DJs, you’ll be able to get your groove on.  In addition, we’re adding a vendor village for you to get your fill of shopping. Crosstown Cookout at Pittsburgh’s Mon Wharf happens rain or shine, and yes it’s undercover…… 2pm-11pm
