How to Celebrate Star Wars Day

Star Wars is a way of life for many nerds across the globe, and Pittsburgh is no different. The cult classic film has been wrecking eligible bachelors since 1977, and now we can celebrate the plethora of nerd bounty available to residents across the city, and beyond. We’ve included a few things to do, see, and buy to help cement yourself into a millennium falcon-level stupor for the rest of the day.

Star Wars Movie Day

Practice your OCD with watching Star Wars over and over again at The Carnegie Library in Oakland.

Showtimes:

Star Wars: The Force Awakens –  3 PM

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story – 12:30 PM and 5:30 PM

A Homegrown Classic: The Hunt For Holcron

Fledgline director, Martin Spitznagel, spent about 10 years creating what would morph into a 30-minute film dedicated to Stars Wars, and everything we love about it. “The Hunt For Holcron”, premiered at Hollywood Theater in 2013, and is now on vimeo for maximum consumption. Click here to watch.
