Festa Junina With a Twist!
Saturday, June 24
Spirit
This traditional Brazilian festival has made it’s way to Pittsburgh and will be taking over Lawrenceville’s Spirit Lounge on Friday night. Brazilians celebrate Festa Junina by dressing up as farmers in straw hats, pigtails, and checkered clothing to pay homage to Brazilian country music. Much like the traditional festival, Spirit encourages everyone to dress up accordingly and partake in a feast of Brazilian inspired pizza. Join them from 10pm to 2am and dance the night away to Forró with a Caipirinha (Brazil’s national cocktail) in hand.
