A 5K Full of Ugly Sweaters

Already over Thanksgiving and ready to jump into Christmas festivities head first? Start your holidays with The Ugly Sweater Run; a 5k for all ages that will be kicking off on November 29 at PNC Park.

The Ugly Sweater Run™/FB
This national event takes place in nearly 20 major cities around the US, inspiring all of us to slip into our mothball ridden woolies.

Ditch the Gatorade and running gear for some hot cocoa and bedazzled sweaters this season. Join thousands of sweater clad runners for this 3.1 mile run through the city. All participants will receive a custom collectible knit hat to wear on their festive jaunt.

The race will kick off with massive holiday inflatables, games, photo stations, and cheerful music. Every mile of the run will include festive stations where racers can help themselves to bottomless hot chocolate. And don’t worry about the calories, you’ll quickly burn off all that steamy chocolate goodness.

Once you’ve conquered the 5k and are about to rip off that unfortunate sweater be sure to celebrate with your fellow runners by grabbing your complimentary Winter Lager.

Awards for Best Ugly Sweater, Best Kids Sweater, Best Pet Attire and Best Real/Fake Mustache/Beard will be rewarded. So don’t forget to wear your very best unfortunate knit attire. Register here and be sure to donate to the Ugly Sweater Run’s partner Save the Children.
