Free Fridays: Dancing in The Streets

Topping off this week is Pittsburgh Musical Theater’s (PMT) annual outdoor extravaganza, Dancing in The Streets. The event highlights local talent being cultivated by the school’s conservatory program and promotes the accessibility of the arts for all income and age brackets. Performances, attractions, free refreshments, and of course, dancing in the streets will all be a part of the celebration.

The event also unifies the company with the residents of The West End, a burgeoning epicenter for growth in Pittsburgh. PMT was founded in 1990, and the company is celebrating 25 years of providing professional theater productions for residents along with comprehensive and expansive theater education for students.

Dancing in The Streets takes place at PMT studios on Saturday, October 1 from 12-1:30pm
