May Market and National Public Gardens Day
May 6 through May 7

2016 marks the 80th annual May Market at Phipps Join dozens of horticulturists, nurseries, garden clubs and other vendors for a full weekend of green splendor. Whether you’re looking to score some great quality soil, succulents, or tropical plants for your garden or taste some local fondant dipped strawberries, you’re sure to find at it at the May Market. And all patrons that come down on May 6th, National Public Gardens Day, will receive half off admission to the Conservatory! Click here for more information on event hours.

Glasshouse Happy Hours
May 12, July 14, September 29

Phipps Conservatory and Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project (PUMP) bring you the Glasshouse Happy Hour which will be accompanied by a Summer flower show, cocktails, and a dance performance from Attack Theatre. Each guest will receive two drink tickets and entry into the Conservatory. Get ready for a “glassy” evening of hands-on planting activities and delicious hors d’oeurves from Cafe Phipps.

Bowties and Butterflies
May 19

Throw on that one-of-a-kind bowtie you’ve been dying to wear and join Phipps as they welcome back the butterflies into the Stove Room.  This VIP Gala will include the Flights of Fancy Reception, live music, and delectable bites. This formal event is the perfect opportunity to get dressed up and explore the whimsical welcoming of Summer.
