Oak Hill Post…………finally!

I’ve admired you from afar for some time now. I’ve drooled and scrolled and finally made it a reality. I crossed a bridge and got brunch at Oak Hill Post.

Positioned on a cozy little street in Brookline, Oak Hill Post offers brunch and lunch from 9am-3pm Tuesday-Sunday. Their specialty is the All-American burger or really sandwiches of any kind, but I was also impressed by their tomato bisque. Garnished with dukkah and salsa verde it had a great flavor and filled me with warmth on a snowy day.
Typically when I try a new place, I have to try their breakfast sandwich if it’s on the menu… and that’s exactly what I did. Packed between two sweet and fluffy buttermilk biscuits was a fried egg, American cheese, tomato, lettuce, dukes mayo, and the protein of your choice. I recommend bacon, but I always recommend bacon. After a few bites, this breakfast sandwich achieved top ranks as one of the best in Pittsburgh in my book. My advice: stop admiring their menu on Instagram and try the real deal.
