Get in the holiday spirit with Lawrenceville’s Cookie Tour

The holiday season in Pittsburgh wouldn’t be complete without Lawrenceville’s Cookie Tour. The tour will begin at 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Each shop’s hours may vary, so be sure to check the location’s hours beforehand.

The tour is self-guided and allows you to enjoy the free and family-friendly event at your own pace. Print out your map here, or pick up one at various locations around town.

The Cookie Tour started its holiday tradition as an open house at Jay Design Soaps & Gifts in 1997. In 2000, the event added more supportive businesses and the cookies were added. This event gives opportunities for Lawrenceville businesses to succeed economically through the holiday season and attract more visitors.

If you’re looking for some more holiday cheer on Saturday, December 2, there will be The Cookie Mall from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club. The special attraction will include homemade cookies, music, carols and pictures with Santa from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. At 7 p.m., join the neighborhood and Lawrenceville United for the annual tree lighting ceremony in the Allegheny Cemetery Driveway on Butler Street.
