Every Third Tuesday for the past year, Phat Man Dee has hosted a community oriented, intergenerational, musical jam session. It is for all ages, and the house band features world class jazz musicians with the ability to back up singers, instrumentalists, poets, and spoken word artists of all genres. This month’s jam session features Phat Man Dee as host, with musicians Tony DePaolis (bass), Carlos Peña (guitar) and Miguel Sague III (conga). Community members have been attending and jamming with professional musicians, performing original compositions, experimental works, poetry, hip hop, jazz standards and cover songs for one year now.

Pennsylvania State Pinball Championship

This year the PA State Championships will be held at Kickback Pinball Cafe in Pittsburgh PA. The tournament entry is invite only however, spectators are welcome.
Each match will be a best-of-seven. The winner of the best of seven match advances to the next round, while the loser is eliminated.

From old to new, there are many interesting pieces of art along the Penn Ave corridor, and we’ll stop at them all! We will run at a casual pace, to accommodate all abilities on this guided tour.
