Live Music PGH Launch Party
Gina Vensel, President of Easy Street Promotions, recently launched a new venture to cultivate musical talent in the city called Live Music PGH. The website will serve as a centralized locations for bands to showcase where they’re playing every week. With the landscape of live music growing, it’s become virtually impossible to wrangle where everyone is playing. The curated list will break down venues, genres, geographics, and costs.
Tonight at Mr. Smalls Funhouse, Live Music PGH will kick-off with a launch party that will include live music (duh) from Spencer Allan Patrick, Grandadchilds and Cisco Kid, live painting by Casey Worthing and local art showcased via Redfishbowl.
Doors open at 8:30pm, food and drink available for purchase. This is a 21+ event. For more information, visit the launch party page.

This evening, Hannah Altman will open her exhibit of provocative and powerful photography at The Lantern on Liberty Ave. Altman’s work pushes boundaries and highlights feminine beauty in its purest and destructive forms of relevance. Altman is also known for her captivating self-portraiture work. Opening reception is 5:30-7:30.
